No other piece of equipment can match the stability, repeatability and accuracy of the Deadweight Tester. It is the ideal instrument for calibrating pressure gauges, transducers, transmitters, transfer standards, recorders etc. and can be used to measure directly the pressure in systems and processes where precise readings are important.

S.M. Gauge Company Limited offers one of the most comprehensive series of Deadweight Testers available, covering a wide variety of applications and ranges in pressure and vacuum. The piston assemblies are manufactured to the very highest engineering standards, with certified accuracy's traceable to International Standards Laboratories.

For a more portable solution we are now supplying hydraulic and pneumatic hand pumps.

Our Pneumatic Hand Pump can generate pressures from 28" Hg vacuum to 600 psi (40 bar). Where as our Hydraulic Hand Pump can create a massive 10,000psi (700 bar)

Combined with the DG1 Pressure Gauge these hand pumps are capable of calibrating to 0.05% FSD. That's suitable for calibrating most pressure transmitters and high accuracy equipment!
