RTD standards for Resistance Temperature Detector. Temperature sensors and assemblies are suitable for safe areas.
These temperature sensors are suitable for applications with a temperature range between -200°C and +600°C providing high accuracy, repeatability and stable temperature measurement.
They use ceramic, glass or film detectors to measure the temperature by means of a change in the electrical resistance relative to the rise or fall of temperature.
All typical temperature sensor termination options are available including ceramic terminal blocks, 4 to 20mA temperature transmitters and local displays all of which can be mounted in the RTD head or remotely via a junction box.
These can be approved to ATEX Exia, ATEX Exd and IECEx Exd for use within hazardous area environments.
